Predicting outcomes with blood exosomal tRFs

Prospective case-control study

Predicting outcomes with blood exosomal tRFs

What was investigated and what was found?

In 30 patients with NOA and 12 controls, the potential of two exosomal RNA fragments to predict sperm retrieval was investigated.

Interpreting the findings

This is biomarker research, not a study of exosome injections or treatment.

How can you prepare for a consultation?

When discussing a biomarker publication, bring your existing hormone reports and any previous sperm retrieval results. Ask which patients were studied and how closely their circumstances resemble yours. An association involving AMH or another marker in a research group does not provide a certain prediction for an individual patient.

What does this research mean for your situation?

Let us begin with your diagnosis, previous findings and goals as a couple. You can request an initial consultation with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çolakoğlu to discuss what this research means for your own situation.
